ABOUT Shiyuki

New Horizons

Shiyuki is a four-bedroom chalet in Furano's Kitanomine area, a short drive from the main ski resort. Slopes in winter, flower fields in summer — the calendar stays full either way.

 EXPLORE the PROPERTY

Modern Frontier

Two floors, two moods. The bedrooms downstairs keep things quiet, for the peace of mind you came for — calm, private, unhurried. Upstairs, the living space opens toward the Furano valley.

Black stone countertops against white walls. Wooden beams run the ceiling out to the balcony, then keep going until the landscape takes over. The Japanese kominka (traditional folk house) lineage is there — a wink, not a declaration.

 EXPLORE the AMENITIES

A Cosy Sanctuary

Three bedrooms on the first floor, each with picture windows and its own climate control — warm in winter, cool in summer. A shared bathroom, and a boot room by the entrance to shed the layers before heading up.

The second floor features an open-plan living and dining room, with an outdoor terrace beyond. The master bedroom has its own ensuite. In the kitchen: a wine chiller and a Nespresso machine, covering both ends of the day.

BATHING RITUALS

The master bathroom's Hiba wood tub looks out over Furano's landscape. The natural fragrance and deep soak do the rest.
